A Fairy Tail Tier: Gildartz

Considering that there is no official tier list for Fairy Tail (and I don't foresee one) and despite the fact that any list I could make would at best be the result of fan-made speculation, I will make one! But it will take time. Perhaps a lot of time.

I'm gonna start with one of my favorite mages.

Gildartz is actually already hailed as being perhaps the strongest mage in Fairy Tail besides Makarov. However, does this make him Top Tier? To an extent.

If Makarov is S Tier, then Gildartz is definitely A Tier.

So my humble list starts like this.

Although he hasn't been shown fighting yet, he did throw Natsu with one arm, and magic capable of destroying the things around a person is probably not something to toy with.

At last!

Awakening was actually a piece of cake. Dane was right. Didn't wanna farm the terranites so i just bought everything off the auction hall.

It's rather tempting to just spend cash on nx. Only two more advanced avatars needed!

Only two more weeks left as Kansai boy. Hopefully the new driver fits in well and i didn't mess things up too much in the little time i've been working.

Saturday's always a difficult day recently because i have to fit a nap in...somewhere. Or at least that's the idea because i'd like to maximize my one night off but i usually end up falling asleep .-. too soon.

It's sort of unsettling, having awakened the mech. What next? Awaken the Blade Master? Just keep building characters? Is that all I do?

HAHA of course not.

This just in: The end of OneManga?

Per the site:

It pains me to announce that this is the last week of manga reading on One Manga (!!). Manga publishers have recently changed their stance on manga scanlations and made it clear that they no longer approve of it. We have decided to abide by their wishes, and remove all manga content (regardless of licensing status) from the site. The removal of content will happen gradually (so you can at least finish some of the outstanding reading you have), but we expect all content to be gone by early next week (RIP OM July '10).

So what next? We're not really sure at this point, but we have some ideas we would like to try out. Until then, the One Manga forums will remain active and we encourage all of you to continue using them. OMF has developed into a great community and it would be a shame to see that disappear.

You can also show us some love in this moment of sadness by 'liking' our brand new Facebook page. It would be nice to see just how many of you came to enjoy our 'better than peanut butter and jelly' invention.

Regardless of whether you stay with us or not, on behalf of the One Manga team, I would like to thank you all for your unwavering support over the years. Through the ups and downs you have stuck with us, and that is what kept us going.

TC: Every five minutes

It's sorta getting up there.

So every five minutes, I gain +1 Nerve.

Every ten minutes, I gain +5 Energy.

Every fifteen minutes, I gain +1-5 Happy.

It takes five hours for my energy bar to refill from zero. Ideally, I could maximize regeneration by logging in at least once every five hours. However, I am no longer interested in such dedication to a game. But I could be!

I suppose if I played more competitively it would be more of an interest.

I've decided to begin increasing my time awake this summer using polyphasic sleep! Hopefully it works.

I suppose that if i am day, then yuma is night. I'm up at 5am, and she's working past 10pm, but somehow in that little window known as dusk we usually manage to find time for each other. Although sometimes she's working at dusk too.

I'm glad for last night though (:

I awoke half-paranoid that Sarah had rolled over on to my side (I had been expecting it for some time) but then I saw it was yuma so I squeezed! And it was good.

It's not like I go on a lot of websites, simply because I don't think it's an efficient/safe use of time to be digging around aimlessly whether it's for business or pleasure.

But I did notice how much time I spend on TC!

A few years ago, TC started keeping track of your stats, so to be honest, there's probably even more time spent on there that it has recorded.

OP: Boa Hancock

2nd favorite character methinks.

I think a large part of how a reader relates to a character has to do with the similarities in aspirations between the two. Boa is driven to never show weakness to anyone (except maybe her sisters, elder nyon, rayleigh + shakky, and luffy) again, and in that I can see my own motivation.

As far as beauty, it seems like Boa stands for beautiful perfection in the One Piece universe. Physically, you could say she's designed to the peak of attractiveness. However, after having done some very minor research, I came across the Koine Greek etymology of the word "beautiful", which came from the word for hour. I suppose that symbolically, it would mean that to be beautiful is to be in one's hour. For example, a ripe fruit would be considered beautiful, since it is in its time.

Perhaps I'll begin to see things in a new light. My view of beauty is continually skewed, so perhaps as things happen in their own time, the nature of the true beauty around me will reveal itself.
